This was our second stay at the park and we enjoyed both times. The sites along the stream are very nice and the extra grass gives you a place to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. Be sure to stop and eat at Si Casa Flores in the shopping center next to the park. The food is great and the portions large. We made a special point of driving further than we normally would just to stay here and will stay here again in the future as we travel up and down I-5.

We stayed here during the historic heat storm - the temperature reached 105. The previous review was correct - the Creek side sites are the best. By early evening the coach had cooled off because of the shade from the trees on the west side of the park. The pool was a VERY welcome relief as was the nearby restaurant that we decided to eat at rather than trying to cook. The managers were very friendly.

If you want a fully provisioned RV park, this is not your place. This is a campground, pure and simple. The availability of electric and water hookups make it usable for RVs and nearly all the sites had motor homes, trailers, camping trailers or 5th wheels while stayed there. It is well-maintained. There are no showers and the single restroom is not close to the campsites although several porta-potties are available at the other end of the camping area. The price is low and the location close to Auburn. The area is quiet and perfect for family camping. There are several large picnic shelters available for groups and families can combine RV and tent camping easily.

We had planned to stay in Auburn but the Auburn RV Park is closed. This was easy to reach and fairly close to shopping. Staff was friendly. The only drawback was the railroad crossing less than a quarter mile away -- the trains had to blow their horns several times, but only early in the morning (we never heard them in the middle of the night).

As of October 3, 2008, this campground is closed and up for sale.

This is a campground, pure and simple. It is not a fancy RV park with concrete, TV cable, etc. We stayed for three nights on the ocean and absolutely were delighted. The owners were very friendly even though they were just about to close up for the winter. Our view of the bay and the ocean could not be beat. If you want someplace that is quiet, away from the crowds, and has fantastic views, ask for one of the sites along the water.

If location is the key factor rather than amenities then this campground certainly charges for where it is rather than what it provides. The previous reviewers must have stayed in the "upper sites". We were sent to the lower sites which were very far from the showers and laundry facilities and did not have cable TV as advertised. The "roads" in the lower sites were poorly marked and the sites were sandy and not level. We watched as a number of RVers tried to park in their assigned locations and drove off or had to circle several times to find a suitable site. We were very disappointed at what we found and would not recommend this campground to others unless they were able to get reservations in the "upper" sites.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the campground is. The sites were level and certainly wide enough for our slideouts. I would recommend it for anyone going to visit Niagara Falls as it's a straight shot up Hwy 62 to all of the tourist attractions.

Fifteen minutes off I40 this campground is clean and well-maintained by the Corps of Engineers. The site is located on Ozark Lake and has a dump site, playground, and is open all year. Many of the sites are paved. The only downside is noise from the railroad trains across the lake. Would recommend this campground to those who want to get away from the city. The sites are also very wide and easily accessed.

The park itself was clean. And, since it's the only RV campground between San Francisco and Bodega Bay on Highway 1 it has the advantage of its location. The restrooms and outbuildings are in dire need of paint and repair. We found out that the new owner is trying to sell the campground to the Point Reyes National Seashore. If that happens who knows what will be done with it. In the meantime it appears that the owner is not interested in sinking any money into fixing things up in case the sale goes through. We did enjoy our stay. The sites at the front with full hookups back up to a grove of trees which provides a great picnic and relaxation area. Don't be put off by the bad reviews. If you want to stay near Point Reyes you really don't have any other choices.

If you only want a place to park that is close to Disneyland, this is it. The "parking lot" description is accurate. The good news is that you can see the fireworks out your RV window. The bad news is that you may damage a motor home hitch as you drive in - the management apparently has done nothing other than post a warning sign stating that the entrance has a steep rise. We saw several deep gouges left in the pavement by hitches that had dragged bottom. To use the restrooms you must pay a $5 key deposit (we were never told this) as the doors are locked. The garbage was piled quite high in the garbage bins by Monday morning. The staff was friendly and willing to assign us an alternate site when we found that the awning on the RV next to our original site would have prevented us from using our slides. All in all this was not an enjoyable experience for us, particularly for the money we paid.

This is a real resort, complete with a fantastic restaurant. The pool is clean, big, and very inviting on a hot day. The restrooms are cleaner than any we have seen even in fancy hotels and there is a small exercise room/gym. If you are passing through Bakersfield and need a place to stay this is it. The only drawback may be the railroad and highway noise but if you are there in the summer you probably will have your windows closed and the AC on so these will be minimal. The owners are definitely trying their best to make this a first-class park and they have succeeded.

This is a campground, not an urban RV park. The sites were fairly level and nicely situated (not too close together). If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is perfect. There are many birds and animals to watch, some fishing, and places for kids to play. It is not fancy and the restrooms are not up-to-date but it's a great place to kick back.

The new owners are doing everything they can to improve the park. Cable TV is expected by next year and limited internet access (for sites closest to the office) was available in March, 2007. The fairgrounds are right next to the park and in short walking distance. We were pleased with what found and will certainly return.

The view of the ocean from the bluff sites is spectacular and worth the extra cost. Dolphins can often be seen swimming up and down the coast and the sunsets are beautiful. Since Pacifica has such a mild climate the absence of trees even in the summer is not a problem. This is our favorite spot to camp when we want to golf, visit the City of San Francisco, or just watch the waves.

The ocean is just over the dunes. A lighthouse replica provides a great view of the coast and paths make it easy to reach the water. A grocery store can be reached by walking about a half mile. The sites are narrow but fairly level with grass between them. A few trees provide shade but on the coast, who needs it! We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay if you are headed into eastern Oregon from Interstate Highway 5. No pool or amenities but provides that needed respite from the road.
